Dawn Brancheau was an amazing woman and the way she lived her life inspires us to carry on her legacy of brightening our world. As we prepare for the 10th Annual Dawn Brancheau Foundation Dream Big Walk, in the interest of the health and safety of our participants and volunteers, we have decided to make this a virtual event. And while the work we do in our communities will continue, we have also determined that this will be our final year hosting this event, as well as the Dream Big 5K in Orlando. We feel blessed by all those who continue to support us on this journey.
On September 20, 2020, we will host the virtual 10th Annual Dawn Brancheau Foundation Dream Big Walk. Please feel free to share your run, walk, community service project, random act of kindness, or way you choose to honor & remember Dawn. The event proceeds will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Lake, South Lake Sailing School, St. Jude House, Sojourner Truth House, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, Matanya’s Hope, Horizons for Youth, South Suburban Family Shelter, Roseland Christian Ministries, Savior Children Foundation, All God’s Children, South Suburban Humane Society, 4 Paw Sake Canine Rescue, and The Dream Big Scholarships at Andrean High School.
PLEASE NOTE: All those wishing to receive a 10th Anniversary shirt must register for this event and choose a size. If you previously registered for the Dream Big 5K in April, you do not need to register again...you will receive a 10th Anniversary shirt.
The Dawn Brancheau Foundation will continue its mission and projects aimed at improving the lives of children and animals in need, inspiring others to follow their dreams, and promoting the importance of community service.
